The Clearinghouse is a service of Oregon Telcom, a non-profit association dedicated to promoting the use of information technology to improve the productivity and competitiveness of business and government in Oregon. This site is intended to support and serve the needs of persons interested in participating in the statewide telecommunications planning process mandated by Oregon's. We hope to create a convenient and concise reference to key sources of information on the World Wide Web, including telecommunications issues, planning practices and models of efforts to improve telecommunications around the country and the world. Please note that this site is not intended to represent views of the OTFC or the State of Oregon. Reference to links provided by commercial interests is not intended to imply endorsement of any policies, products or services by Oregon Telcom, the OTFC, or the State of Oregon.

  • State of Oregon Statewide Telecommunications Planning Initiatives -- SB 994 mandates that the state provide leadership in telecommunications planning in two areas: DAS is empowered to coordinate the telecommunications purchasing activities of state agencies and the Office ofthe Governor is to coordinate public and private interests in telecommunications.
